A husband-wife artists team desired
a home separate from their small, cramped studio/home. At a higher
point on their Hill Country property, they had settled
on a most excellent site with dramatic 180-degree views - from "full
vertical" noon to
long-golden-shadowed sunsets. I looked it over for a while and wondered:
What if this house rolled down the gentle slope and hit this lone
tree at about mid-point and got "bent" - just a little?
